~ SALES POLICY ~
LIONHEADS WILL NOT BE HELD WITHOUT A $20 DEPOSIT!
Deposits are only good until the rabbit is 8 weeks old. If the rabbit has not been picked up by 8 weeks of age, and the buyer has not kept in contact with me, then the deposit is forfeited, and I have the right to re-list the rabbit as available to the public.
PICK-UP: Rabbits are able to be picked up once they are 8 weeks of age. I will make arrangements to meet for pick-up in a public place, as I do not let people come to my home. You will have the right to examine the rabbit for faults, and will also have the right to cancel the sale. But if you decide against the rabbit, your deposit is forfeited.
CARE FEES: If a rabbit can not be picked up by 8 weeks of age a weekly care fee of $20 will be required. The fee covers cage space, daily care, feed, water, and cage cleaning. This fee is to be paid at pickup. The rabbit will be held for a month maximum. After one month, the initial deposit is forfeited, and the rabbit will be relisted.
PEDIGREE: Only brood or show quality Lionheads will have a pedigree to accompany the sale.
GUARANTEE: The rabbit is leaving Teacher's Pet Rabbitry in good health and condition. Rabbits are very delicate and die easily from beginner mistakes. Feeding a rabbit vegetation, backyard grasses, fruits, different feed, etc. can actually kill your rabbit. Small children and other pets can cause your rabbit to have a heart attack. Dropping your rabbit or squeezing him too tightly can paralyze him and kill him. Faulty water bottles can lead to dehydration and death. Therefore, every rabbit has a 48 hour period in which it should be seen by a vet of the owner’s choice and expense. If your rabbit passes away within 48 hours of purchase, I will replace the rabbit with another one of equal quality- provided I have one available, or I will refund the amount paid for the rabbit. You must bring the deceased rabbit back to me for a replacement or refund. No exceptions! I reserve the right to have a vet of my choice examine the deceased rabbit. If it is discovered that the deceased rabbit has been fed anything except for rabbit feed and timothy hay, dehydrated, dropped, squeezed too tightly, or died of a heart attack, then this will void the warranty. I will not replace nor will I refund the amount paid. Sorry, but rabbits purchased at a show are excluded from refund or replacement.
